Here are some of our most popular project-based planning services:
In-Depth Financial Plan
We delve deeply into your finances, assessing all major areas and developing recommendations that touch on most all aspects of your financial picture. Areas covered typically include advising on your investments, an in-depth look at savings and accumulation for retirement, insurance needs, education planning, cash flow and budgeting, tax planning and a general estate overview.
We complete an in-depth analysis for your current investments, develop an appropriate asset allocation strategy aligned with your goals and time horizon and share specific recommendations for strengthening your portfolio. We can provide the portfolio recommendations, which you will then implement, or we can also offer implementation assistance.
A La Carte Planning
These planning projects typically cover a single topic (or a couple of topics) in-depth, such as:
- Do I need additional insurance, and, if so, what is the most appropriate type for me?
- How much do I need to accumulate in the way of college savings and what is the best way to go about that?
- What is the best use of a recent inheritance that I received?
- Many other individual topics
- Also includes second opinions
Financial Counseling Session
‘Get Answers Now’ during an interactive 2 hour meeting, which addresses 1 or 2 issues impacting your finances currently.
Examples may include, but are not limited to, employee benefits review, 401(k) investments selection, Medicare Coverage Part B and Part D selections, current cash flow/budgeting issues, determining how much house you can realistically afford or choosing the best mortgage.
No in-depth written summary report will be provided.
Not available for retirement projections, in-depth portfolio reviews, detailed pension/stock option analysis or similar issues which, by nature, require a more extensive review.
Check-ups provide an opportunity for existing clients to review and discuss their future finances on an as-needed basis. Specific financial issues to be covered will be agreed upon between the client and us in advance.
Some clients prefer ongoing assistance and the comfort of more frequent discussions and regular meetings to make sure their finances remain on track. Perhaps you are now in retirement and would like assistance in planning for meeting expenses and taking income distributions, as needed. Or sometimes a longer time period may be required before all planning issues can be fully addressed.
Retainer services may be ideal for these clients.
Portfolio Advisory Services
Some clients prefer to have their advisor provide full investment management as part of their financial relationship. So we provide this service, which focuses strictly on your investments. With this service we will provide specific investment recommendations; develop an appropriate investment policy statement and create an asset allocation strategy for you; provide implementation services for the specific investments recommended; monitor your investments on an ongoing basis; re-balance your portfolio, as needed; provide appropriate written reports; and offer ongoing opportunities for meeting and discussing your investments, as appropriate.
The annual fee varies by portfolio size; a fee estimate will be provided to those clients who are interested in this service during the Get Acquainted meeting.
Fees for the various planning services are based on the nature and scope of services provided; a fee estimate/fee range will be shared during the Get Acquainted meeting.
